Course Goal:

To support the Virginia Standards of Learning for teaching World History and Geography to 1500 AD by:

  • Connecting the events of world history to their geographical foundations;
  • Connecting geographical vocabulary to historical events and processes;
  • Connecting the tools and concepts of geography to analyses of historical events; and
  • Providing lesson plans, resources, and links for classroom teachers.
